torturato e incarcerato per quattro anni e tre mesi in un laogai per essersi
battuto contro la politica cinese degli aborti forzati e della sterilizzazione
di massa. La penuria di notizie talvolta è dovuta anche alla complicità diretta
e indiretta delle migliaia di aziende occidentali interessate al grande mercato
cinese e che non hanno alcun interesse a disturbare lo status quo politico, in
assoluto spregio dell’etica in nome del dio profitto. Sarebbe un fatto
straordinario sapere anche quante aziende italiane operanti in Cina
implementano realmente i canoni previsti dalla responsabilità sociale d’impresa
e che interessano la protezione dell’ambiente, la sicurezza del prodotto, ma
anche le condizioni di lavoro e soprattutto i diritti umani. Nella società
cinese, ma possiamo coinvolgere anche gran parte di quella occidentale, il
materialismo consumista, l’ateismo diffuso, lo sfrenato individualismo, non
sembrano soddisfare più soprattutto le giovani generazioni che stanno cercando
risposte alla loro sete di Verità. Non dare loro risposte di senso, come
adulti, amministratori, educatori, imprenditori, partendo proprio dall’analisi
della realtà, sarebbe un delitto contro questa giovane umanità, che avrebbe
conseguenze gravissime nei decenni futuri.
